Thank you Netgalley for providing me with a free copy for my honest review!
I give this book four out of five birds. I was first drawn to the book because of the cover. I’m a sucker for a good cover. I don’t often read poetry, but I did enjoy the flow of this book. I think the reason this book resonated with me, especially right now, is because I just had my third baby and it’s a boy. I’ve loved watching his two older sisters adapt to him. This book describes some of things we’ve already experienced perfectly and was a good foreshadowing of the future. The art throughout was beautiful. I was actually very surprised at how deep this book went with depression. I thought it was awesome, but did have a hard time deciding on what the targeted age was. I’d recommend YA or Adult. Pick it up if you need a quick read 🙂
