The Bell Jar

The Bell JarThe Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ten Days in a Mad-House by Nellie Bly deserves 4 out 5 birds from me! I am sad to say that I had no idea who Nellie Bly was before listening to this book. I definitely want to read more about her. What a brave and talented woman to dig so deep for a story. I enjoyed how the book was formatted and the stories were told, however the entire time I found myself looking for more… and maybe that is my personal problem, maybe there isn’t more to the story. The entire story felt like she had spent over a year locked up, and I was shockingly reminded it was ten days at the end of the book. I was so entangled in her story, I had forgotten! I’d recommend it!
