This book highlights the tragic and inspiring story of Anthony Ray Hinton and it definitely deserves 5 out of 5 birds from me. If you were a fan of Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson- which I highly recommend- then this is a book for you! There were so many times I wanted to throw something across the room because it was clear as day how innocent he was and yet he spent years on death row. I admired his ability to maintain his positive attitude despite his unfair circumstances. I think the saddest chapter was the last one knowing what he had lost- but I will let you read to find out 😉 I’d put this one on your to-read or listen list!
