The War I finally Won- by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley. I give this five out of five birds.
This is the sequel to The War That Saved My Life (which I reviewed earlier- check it out!). Usually sequels are not worth the hype, but I really did enjoy this one. I thought the storyline was still engaging and truly enjoyed the character development. Ada is someone I came to love and yearned for her to be successful. This book is definitely one middle graders would enjoy as well as an adult. It feels light but teaches so many great things. I hate reading books about war, but this was an exception. I also love the cover! Have you read it? What did you think?
