I give this one four out of 5 birds. I love Prison. It fascinates me. I want to learn everything about it, the people and their lives who are incarcerated, and literally anything. So this book was written for me. I really enjoyed Piper’s take on prison life and what she left behind. I’m still baffled that after so many years she was convicted and made to wait to go to prison. The system is crazy. The friendships she made in it were lovable and real. I’d hang out with Piper any day. Definitely worth the read. It had a few swear words but not too many. I haven’t seen the Netflix adaption. I made it through three minutes before I turned it off…..
