This book deserves 5 out of 5 birds from me! I was given this book as a gift my brother- who has been consistently cheering me on in my endeavor to become an author. I enjoy writing YA and felt like Mary Kole had great advice. I found it a slow read, not because it boring, but because I really wanted to let it all soak in and be beneficial to me. I made sure to add the books she provided examples from. I’m excited to see the changes in my writing, approach to plot and even querying.
