I give this book 5 out of 5 birds and all I can say is “Oh my holy crap!”
Seriously, this book is demented and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. It was fascinating and so messed up. So unless you are part of the unique population who enjoys the dark and twisty crap I’m going to say stay away from this book. It’s the journey of a couple and their young daughter who refuses to speak although she is 7 and appears normal and healthy according the doctors. Except she’s crazy. She thinks she is a witch and she’s out to prove it.
If you’re interested in child pyschopaths, this is for you. That’s all I can say, because there were legit times I started gasping and talking back to my fictional friends…. I loved it and it scared me half to death.
