I give L.M. Montgomery’s The Blue Castle 5 out of 5 birds. I’m a huge L.M. fan and this book didn’t let me down. Was it a little bit corny, yes. But I fell in love with the characters, I almost want to have one more child and name her Valancy. I thought it had a unique plot. L.M. has the ability to make a character that you want to hate and them be mad at. Like Umbridge style, which I love. I love to hate? I digress. If you are in need of a fairytale, light love story, or a good laugh (which I had a few) then this is a book for you. I’m surprised it took me this long to even find this book! Pick it up NETFLIX!
