Flowers in the Attic by V.C. Andrews

I give V.C. Andrews 4 out of 5 birds for his book Flowers in the Attic. This may be one of the most messed up books I have ever read. I mean it may even knock Baby Teeth out of the running. The idea was original and intriguing but WAY over the top. This book was recommended to me to aide in my writing. Would I recommend it to anyone else? Yeah, I’m going to say better not. Don’t get me wrong, I couldn’t put it down, but it’s not a happy story. One just full of smut. This book did help me grasp how far I want to take my books and where I want to draw the line. So for me it was helpful. I have the second one and don’t think I will pick it up after reading some of the reviews. Unless someone convinces me too……
