I give Caitlin Doughty and her novel Will My Cat Say My Eyeballs? five out of five birds! If you love fun facts, death, and facts about dead people this is your next read or listen. It’s a compilation of questions that kids have asked Caitlin who owns a funeral home and she answers them frankly. I loved her dry humor throughout the entire book. Morticians are not Magicians! May be my favorite line. Also I would like to applaud these children for asking the questions I’ve been dying to ask for years. One of the themes throughout was that because we don’t know about death and what happens to bodies after we die it’s see as terrifying. I’m not going to argue with you if you think it is…. But this was interesting and not terrifying to me!
