Anne’s House of Dreams by L.M. Montgomery

I’ll give L.M. Montgomery 4 out of 5 birds for Anne’s House of Dreams. Anne is one of my all time favorite characters, but I didn’t feel like she was all there in this book. I had glimpses of her, but I didn’t get the same feelings as some of the first few books. I loved the friendship developed with her neighbors and the closeness. I didn’t feel like Anne was as was as confident and sure of herself. I’m happy she’s married, but I’m also sad she has lost some of the fire. I”d read it, it has a sweet story line, but not my favorite of Montgomery’s.
