Ill give William Golding 4 out of 5 birds for his novel Lord of the Flies. This was my second time reading it. The first time was about 15 years ago! I love the plot line and how dark William was willing to go. I still had a hard time keeping characters straight… That’s my own personal problem though.
The book definitely leaves you with a chilling side affect. Kids can be cruel and when left to themselves, apparently they can be really cruel. Reading it through a second time, it wasn’t what I had remembered. But I’m also 30 now and can’t relate as well. All in all, I recommend it and you probably HAVE to read it for school anyways!
