I will give Emily Winfield Martin five out of five birds for her novel Snow & Rose. I hadn’t heard of this book until I opened up a mysterious package in my mailbox. My sister had surprised us and sent us this book during COVID19. We absolutely adored it. The art in it was the best part. I was tempted to cut out some of the pages and hang them up throughout my house. The storyline was very sweet and helped us practice our guessing skills. The sisters were fun to get to know and actually matched my two girls in hair color and age difference and they thought that was the coolest thing. It was a fun journey to take together. My almost 5 year old and 3 year old read it all with me, we did stop to talk about a few parts but they kept up with most all of it!
