The Witch of Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare

Alright Elizabeth George Speare, I’ll give you five out of five Blackbirds for this novel. I’m not biased either because I’m part bird and part witch. I think this book was recommended to me at least five times so I finally got my hands on it. I was weary because it’s not my typical jam but I enjoyed it a lot. The story flowed well and kept me interested and I reached my angst quota for the week. I was so happy with the ending. I loved how a few of the characters went against the grain and were kind instead of being complete jerks. So yeah, this is a good book for our time.
