I’ll give Mary Roach 4 out of 5 birds for her Nonfiction Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers. It’s been months since I actually finished this one and so my review might not be as on point. It is a very in depth look into how cadavers are used. Will I be donating my body to science after this? I think I’m still a no. My husband does monthly cadaver labs still with leg limbs for work and hearing him say, “Did someone get the limbs out to defrost” is enough for me. I don’t want to be cold in my afterlife.
It was gruesome at some parts, but overall not terrifying. I found it very interesting and I would recommend it!
