Confessions of a Sociopath: A life Spent Hiding in Plain Sight by M.E Thomas
I give this book 2.5 birds out of 5… And yes for my sociopath friend she probably would cut a literal bird in half and be fine with it. The first 10 pages of this book had me absolutely HOOKED, because I was like are you kidding me? And then it got so repetitive and just hard to stomach. Knowing she is out there kind of makes me sick to my stomach. That just for kicks and giggles she tries to ruin people’s lives. I had a sick feeling for two days after while interacting with people- unsure if they were sociopaths trying to bring me to my demise. I can’t believe she is not seeking help- it’s one thing to not know- but to know and brag about it and not seek help!?!?!
I did google the crap out of her and found out who she was. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints, I found her representation of the church completely misleading. I am glad she uses the “guidelines” to help her in her life- but her interpretation was very loose.
I did find it intriguing to learn of some of the science behind this book- so if you are a medical health professional- you might actually really enjoy this. For me, it made me sad and disgusted that she could pride herself in such horrible actions.
And if she’s reading this…. Please don’t come after me. You scare me more than Bundy lol.
